The Stone Techno Festival is organized by Third Room and Achim Reisdorf from the Ruhr Museum. 

The music is based on samples generated in the geological collection of the Ruhr Museum.

The festivals are recorded for ARTE music and since 2023 accompanied by a science area.

2024, our second year at the Stone Techno Festival.

In 2023, the redox research rheinland network participated for the first time in the Stone Techno Festival
explaining interested attendees the importance of minerals inside cells.
